Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Alfred Leo St. Arnault of Edmonton on June 23, 2017 at the age of 41 years, surrounded by his loving family and friends. His spirit shone strong as he faced his last days on earth with courage and dignity. Amazingly, he remained positive and strong throughout his countless challenges. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his parents, George & Jeannine; sister & Godmother, Murielle (Rodney Christensen); brother, Michel (Lori-Anne) & sister, Lise (Michel Malo); nieces & nephews, Andrea, Tyler, Nathalie, Danielle, Miguel, Eric, Léa & Gilles; great-nieces & great-nephews, Lexie, Kaylie, Mikah, Céleste, Jayden & Émeric; Godfather, Gary Ouellet; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine (1960); brother, Pierre (1970); grandparents, Léo & Cecile Plante, Alfred & Alice St. Arnault. Robert will be remembered by his many friends, family and colleagues as a generous, kind-hearted and loving person with a tremendous sense of humour. His “joie de vivre” is an inspiration to us all. We all have fond memories of Robert and many reasons to celebrate his life. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 7:30pm at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral with Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier as the celebrant. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations may be made to Cross Cancer Institute, Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) or Grey Nuns Palliative Care c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB. T0A 3A1.
