On January 26, 2024, Mr. Robert Felix Plante of Calgary, formerly of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 59 years. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Whiskeyjack; 2 sisters, Marcella Grainger & Michelle Plante (Sean); nephews & nieces, David, Jenna (Diego), Keighly, James, Sean, David, Daniel, Dylan, Raven, Caroline, Chaley & McLean; uncle, Jonas; aunties, Ida, Lena, Margaret & Alsena; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews & grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Freddie & Emelia Plante; brothers, Gerald & James; paternal grandparents, Felix & Caroline Plante; maternal grandparents, Michael & Velma White. A Wake will be held on Friday, February 2 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) at Onchaminahos School Gym, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Onchaminahos School Gym, Saddle Lake. Pastor Linda Burns will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake. The family kindly requests that no children under 12 years attend Roberts Wake & Funeral.
