Obituary
On May 11, 2013, at the age of 79 years, Mr. Robert Grimstad of Mallaig passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Rena; 4 daughters & 1 son, Joanne Penner (Iver Storseth) of Mallaig, Laurie (Maurice) Bourgeois of Barrhead, Karen (Ken) Fleischer of Didsbury, Rena (Bill) McIntosh of White City, SK & John (Carmella) of Penhold; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 brother & 2 sisters, George of Riondell, B.C., Pauline Brown & Olga Penner both of Cold Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Grimstad was predeceased by his parents, John & Lennie; brothers-in-law, Peter & Ronald; sister-in-law, Virginia; granddaughters, Amy & Shantell. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Jean de Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, Mallaig. Pastor Joe Massop will be officiating, with cremation to follow.
