Obituary
On January 23, 2014, Mr. Richard Lamoureux of St. Paul, formerly of Mallaig, passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rolande; daughter, Joanne (Michael) Tirpak of Sylvan Lake; 3 sons, Gary (Barb), Roger (Viva) & Michael (Kristal) all of Edmonton; 9 grandchildren, Melissa Tirpak, Britany Tirpak, Daniel, Matthew, Stephanie, Kayla, Jenna, Emmett & Nash Lamoureux; brother, Philip (Cecile) of St. Paul; 3 sisters, Lillian Vallee, Irene (Jim) Christensen & Annette (Joe) Gratton all of Mallaig; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Napoleon & Blanche Lamoureux. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Jean de Brebeuf Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mallaig.
