On May 4, 2014, Mrs. Regina Rita Strathdee of Edmonton passed away at the age of 64 years. She is survived by her loving companion, Christopher Tayeer; 2 sons, Ron Boudreau and Rocky Steinhauer/Whiskeyjack both of Edmonton; daughter, Tanya Boudreau (Craig Auger) of Edmonton; 12 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Oscar (Marguerite) Whiskeyjack of Nordegg, Francis (Elsie) Whiskeyjack of Edmonton, Ivan Whiskeyjack of Saddle Lake, Bella (Iain) Shenfield of Edmonton, Dorothy Visser, Irene (Barry) Cardinal of Jasper, Virginia Whiskeyjack of Edmonton & Shirley Whiskeyjack (Louis Blyan) of Saddle Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Stoney Whiskeyjack; grandson, Tiran; parents, James & Martha Whiskeyjack; brother, Ben; sisters, Mary Jane, Charlotte, Joan & Julienne; brother-in-law, Bill Visser. A Wake will be held on Friday, May 9 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
