On October 30, 2020, Mr. Raymond Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne; 2 daughters & 3 sons, Cindy Cardinal (Shane Logan), Kenny Quinney, Carrie (Derek) Tremblay, Sheldon Myers & Chris Myers; mother of Cindy, Mary-Ann Redcrow; adopted daughter, Gale Nahnepowisk; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 adopted grandchild, Mya Jackson; 7 sisters & 1 brother, Emily Moosewah, Christina Cardinal, Helen Nancy Cardinal, Irene Cardinal, Doris (Robert) Cardinal, Valerie Cruz, Harriet Large & Sam (Earlene) Cardinal; sister-in-law, Ann Hudson; brothers-in-law, Nelson Bernard, Oscar Cruz & Mike Hudson; numerous nieces & nephews & 1 adopted nephew, Jim Cardinal; adopted sister & brothers, Sophie Pearson, James Hunter & John Yewchin. Raymond was predeceased by his daughter, Donna Lynn; parents, Mathew & Rachel Cardinal; 4 sisters, Victoria Dion, Lena Bernard, Jean Whiskeyjack & Sarah Cardinal; 2 brothers & 1 sister in infancy; mother-in-law, Mary Hudson; brothers-in-law, Peter Dion, James Moosewah, Sonny Whitford & Hector Cardinal. A Private Wake & Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
