On April 21, 2014, Mrs. Rachel (Iskwesis) Gladue of St. Paul passed away at the age of 81 years. She is survived by 3 sons, Eric (Nora) Gladue of Edmonton, Vern Gladue & Gary Gladue of St. Paul; 4 daughters, Leona (Allen) Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Lena (Louis) Lapatack of Saddle Lake, Irene Badger of Kehewin & Joyce (Dale) Gladue of Bonnyville; adopted daughter, Irene Cardinal of Saddle Lake; son-in-law, Joe L. Cardinal of Saddle Lake; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; brother, Peter Trottier (Sylvia Delver) of Kehewin; 4 sisters, Christina (Julien) Paul of Kehewin, Justine Trottier of Kehewin; Evelyn Cardinal (Phil Hunter) of Saddle Lake & Susan (Joe) Quinney of Frog Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred; son, Terry; grandchildren, Samantha Lapatack, Chantelle Gladue, Kevin Badger & Terrance Gladue Jr.; great-grandson, Jerome Lapatack; parents, Edward & Marie Trottier; sister, Nancy Trottier; brothers, Thomas, Victor, Lawrence & Celeste Trottier; half-sisters, Delphine Amahoose & Lavina Moosewah. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, April 26 & 27 at Kehewin Cultural Centre, Kehewin. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Kehewin Cultural Centre, Kehewin. Reverend Father Andrew Schoenberger will be officiating, with interment in Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kehewin, AB.
