Obituary
On September 12, 2017, Mrs. Phyllis Scott of Elk Point passed away at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Glen) Mayner of Edson; 3 sons, Kendall (Chantel) of Whitecourt, David & Glen (Roberta) both of Elk Point; 6 grandsons, Matthew, Mark, Daniel, Brenden, Colton & Benjamin; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Wesley in 2003; parents, Tarold & Thea Aarbo; siblings, Alfield, Jens, Martin, Lillian, Rose, Martha & Jeannette. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre, Elk Point. Reverend Anne McGrath will be officiating, with interment in Elk Point East Cemetery, Elk Point. If desired, donations may be made to AHS – Parkview Extended Care or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. My sincerest condolences to Karen, Kendall, David, Glen and their families. Aunt Phyl always opened up her home to myself and my sons and we enjoyed many good family visits. Memories will pop up over time, memories to laugh about, be sad about ….enjoy and cherish them all. I loved her a lot and she will never be forgotten.
