Obituary
On October 18, 2019, Mr. Peter Hladunewich of Beauvallon passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years. Peter is survived by his sister, Iris (Metro) Eliuk; 2 sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Hladunewich & Carol Hladunewich; 11 nieces & nephews & their families; former spouse, Gloria. Peter was predeceased by his parents, John & Mary; 2 brothers, Walter & William; & a sister in infancy, Adeline. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Elks Hall, Myrnam. Father Rendy Yackimec will be officiating, with interment in Krasna Hora Cemetery, Beauvallon. The extended Hladunewich family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to niece Shelley Turner, for her care and compassion for Peter over the past two years. I had the opportunity to meet and visit with Peter while my Dad (Tony Demkiw) was at the Two Hills hospital earlier this year. I always found Peter to be such a pleasant, kind and gentle person.
