Obituary
On March 9, 2023, Mrs. Pearl Fodchuk of Myrnam passed away at the age of 65 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Terry; special companion, Riley; brother, Mark Sokalski; numerous nieces & nephews, relatives & friends. Pearl was predeceased by her parents, Victor & Bridget Sokalski. A Celebration of Pearl’s Life will be held on Wednesday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Elks Hall, Myrnam. Reverend Father Michael Ngo will be officiating. Cremation has taken place. A recording of the service will be available to view starting on Thursday, March 23, by clicking on the Live Service tab above. Relation: I was priviledged to have been mentored by Pearl and we worked together at THMS with kindergarten kids.
Heartfelt condolence for your loss. Pearl was a very special lady! She was kind and thoughtful and had a wonderful sense of humor. She made kindergarten fun and had such a positive influence on her students. The time and energy Pearl spent researching educational activities and crafts for her students speaks volumes to the incredible passion she had as a teacher. She touched the lives of many students and instilled in them a love of learning. Just like her name suggests, Pearl was a gem. May her memory be eternal.
