Obituary
On November 19, 2016, Mrs. Paula Idella Wirsta of Elk Point passed away suddenly at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Fred; 7 children, Annette (Kevin) McAnally, Patsy (Curtis) Spacil, Joyce (Sylvain) Caron, Ronald (Corinne) Wirsta, Gail (Norman) Hurtubise, Kevin (Janice) Wirsta & Roseanne Vallee; 19 grandchildren, Jason, Jackie, Jessica M., Mathew, Amanda, Jaylynn, Jessica A., Natasha, Victor, Melissa, Meagan, Maddisen, Travis, Brittany, Kailey, Lexi, Katelynn, Lisa & Jared; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers, Glen (Edith) Haakenson, Alf (Maureen) Haakenson, John (Linda) Haakenson, Tom (Doreen) Haakenson & Garry Haakenson; 5 sisters, Marg Cherniawsky, Joyce (Gordon) McCrea, Irene (Art) Scott, Blanda (John) Pribyl & Jean Haakenson. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold & Muriel Haakenson; brother, Murray Haakenson; sisters, Mildred Haakenson & Audrey Neustaeter; and her dear grandson, Corey Marcoux. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Allied Arts Centre, Elk Point. Reverend Bill Kryzanowski & Reverend Dave Holden will be officiating with interment in Pochayiw Cemetery, Stoney Lake.
