Obituary

On April 22, 2017, Mr. Paul Farkas of Smoky Lake, formerly of Bellis & Two Hills, passed away at the age of 93 years. Paul is survived by his children, Paul (Elena) & John (Julia) both in Hungary, also Stefan (Mary-Ellen) of Edson, Therese Taschuk of Smoky Lake & Vinny (Sheena) of Two Hills; 9 grandchildren, John, Paul, Erika, Ildi, Christine, Christopher, Loralie (Peter), Michael (Alesia) & Daniel; along with 11 great-grandchildren. Paul was predeceased by his wife, Heidy; daughter, Priska; parents, Vincent & Terezia; & son-in-law, Terry. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bellis Ukrainian Recreational & Cultural Centre, Bellis, on Saturday, April 29 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Keith Axford will be officiating, with cremation having taken place.
