Obituary
On May 25, 2022, Owen Diamond Leon of Saddle Lake, Alberta, formerly of Sts’sailes, British Columbia, passed away at the age of 17 years. He is survived by his loving mother, Stephanie Shirt; siblings, Dominic Francis, Jenika Shirt, Lyla Leon, Lillian Leon & Nelson Leon Jr.; grandparents, John & Mabel Shirt, Claudette & Dana Leon; aunties, Trina, Janice, Marla, Dawn & Clarissa; uncles, Josh, Caleb & Casmire; numerous uncles, aunts & relatives. Owen was predeceased by his father, Nelson Raymond Leon; sister, Nevaeh Leon; great-grandparents, Linda Thomas, Peter & Mary Shirt; great-great-grandparents, Rita & Roland Leon, Ben & Caroline Whiskeyjack; great-great-great-grandparents, Bella & Joshua Shirt, Joshua & Matilda Whiskeyjack. A Wake will be held on Sunday (leaving Grace Gardens at 4:00 p.m.) & Monday, May 29 & 30 at John Shirt’s residence, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. at John Shirt’s residence, Saddle Lake.
