Obituary
On November 15, 2012, Mrs. Olga Shapka (nee Karpyshyn) of Smoky Lake, formerly of Spedden, passed away at the age of 69 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Harry; 3 sons, Allan of Phoenix, Arizona, Ken (Leanne) of Edmonton & Dale (Debbie) of Tofield; daughter, Tanya (Jason) of Fairview; son-in-law, David Kully of Vilna; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Steve Karpyshyn & George (Irene) Karpyshyn all of Spedden; sister, Mary (Micky) Hades of Calgary; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Nadia Kully; parents, Andrew & Eva Karpyshyn; brother, Andy Karpyshyn. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, November 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Stry 75th Anniversary Hall, Stry. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Stry 75th Anniversary Hall, Stry. Reverend Father Bennie Ambrosie will be officiating with interment in St. John’s Russo-Orthodox Cemetery at Wahstao.
