On June 16, 2023, Mrs. Olga Melnychuk of St. Paul, formerly of Spedden, passed away at the age of 95 years. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Sidor; son, Ernie (Debbie) Melnychuk; 7 grandchildren, Tammy Sidor (Ken Fisher), Dwayne Sidor, Darryl (Amanda) Sidor, Stacy (Cara) Melnychuk, Corey (Debbie) Melnychuk, Angela (Aaron) Boucher & Jody (Justin) Urlacher; 13 great-grandchildren, Bronwyn Boucher, Sydney Fisher, Cody Melnychuk, Emmitt Boucher, Kyra Sidor, Lincoln Boucher, Ruby Urlacher, Holly Melnychuk, Easton Sidor, Nora Urlacher, Lucas Melnychuk, Harlyn Urlacher & Brody Melnychuk; sister, Sophie Pidoburozny; brother, Andrew (June) Rurka; sister-in-law, Jean Rurka; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Melnychuk was predeceased by her husband, William; parents, Paul & Nellie Rurka; sisters, Tillie, Mary, Annie, Pearl & Nellie; brothers, Fred & Peter. Divine Liturgy & Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Very Reverend Father Don Bodnar will be officiating with interment in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Spedden.
