I feel a little lost right now, without my oldest sister on this earth. but I know she’ll be looking out for me just as she did when I was a little boy. We will pick it up again from where you left off when we get together in my memories of you Olga. I hope you are having a grand time up there and you know of course I love and miss you lots..

From: Noreen D. Romano
Relation: sister

Olga, you were a wonderful sister, always there for me especially when my sons were young. You never lectured; you simply offered good sound advice. Right now, I cannot imagine family gatherings without you, let alone the numerous and wonderful Ukrainian dishes you always brought over. But, I do know you will forever be in our hearts and memories and forever missed. Know that I loved you, dear sister.

From: Fern Garneau
Relation: sister

Our sincere condolences to Henry & the entire family. She was an icon. I will miss our phone chats, her patient advice to me about recipe questions and most of all I will miss her wisdom. She left a legacy in the beautiful things she handcrafted and memories of the food she prepared.
Her job was to feed the world & to take care of all babies. She will not be forgotten. Love always.

From: Orest and Sue Kostyniuk and family

Orest, Sue, Daniel, Dale, Bobbi-Jo and Dalon wish to express deepest sympathy and love to the family for the loss of our dear Olga. She was the ultimate Mom and will be missed. May she rest in peace.
She is now watching over all of us.

I fondly remember my Aunty Olga as more than an aunt. She was a force of nature. She was the nucleus around which things happened. Some of my best childhood memories are of going to visit my cousins “on the farm.” Aunty Olga was always there, cooking, canning, berry picking, organizing, getting things done. As an adult I look at the monumental work load she faced every day & marvel at her ability to come through it all, no matter what. And that laugh of hers that started somewhere down in her toes then came all the way up through her belly to set her whole body shaking was both impressive & contagious. She was the kind of person that knew innately to make the most out of every moment of life. No motivational books for her. No daily calenders with uplifting sentiments. Just a confidence that the right thing to do is make the most of whatever you are handed. I believe that when she went to bed at night, she didn’t lie there thinking “what if” or “I could have done more…” She just closed her eyes knowing she did all she could. I was lucky to have her as my aunt.
