Obituary
On May 18, 2017, Mr. Norris Joseph McGilvery of Edmonton, formerly of Saddle Lake, passed away at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving children, Loretta Moosewah & Donald Steinhauer; grandchildren, Audrey (Jeremy), Jennifer, Michelle, Kyle, Russell & numerous other grandchildren & great-grandchildren; siblings, Louie (Betty), John (Beatrice), Margaret (Doug), William, Pearl (Brady), Eileen (Vern) Omeasoo, Sylvia, Shirley, Julianne (Fred) & Leona (Peter); & numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Norris was predeceased by his 2 daughters, Delores & Eunice Steinhauer; parents, Edmund & Agnes McGilvery; 4 brothers, Floyd, Cleophas, Vernon & Leonard McGilvery; & sister, Carolyn Badger. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:30 p.m.) & Wednesday, May 23 & 24 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre. Reverend Robert Wright will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery.
