Obituary
On April 13, 2018, Mrs. Noreen Steinhauer of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 60 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Henry Giant; son, Nathan (Rhonda Cardinal); 3 daughters, Janine (Leo) Patrick, Toni Wahsatnow (Robert), Sheena Giant; adopted son, Tyrese Whiskeyjack; 7 grandchildren, Norvanna, Tocina, Emelia, Jordan, Cianna, Kevia, Kia, Jade & Pepper; mother, Bella Steinhauer; siblings, Carrie Wolfe, Eleanor Steinhauer, Rita Ermineskin, Emilene Jackson, Teresa Bray, Susan Desjarlais, Alvina Desjarlais, Dorthy Desjarlais, Jerome Cardinal, Richard Cardinal & Charles Desjarlais; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & grandchildren. Noreen was predeceased by her father, Ira Steinhauer; son-in-law, Clarence Wahsatnow; nephew, Gary Wolfe; grandmother, Caroline Sunday; & cousin, Reuben Sunday. A Wake will be held on Tuesday, April 17 (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) at the residence of Sheena Giant, House # 121, Saddle Lake & Wednesday, April 18 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake (leaving Sheena Giant’s residence at 3:30 p.m.) Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
