Obituary
On December 4 , 2024,Mrs. Nora Thom (Cardinal) of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her husband, James Thom (Kelley); 3 sons & 3 daughters, Vance Cardinal, Tessie Cardinal, Jody (Erick) White, Winston (Aleisha) Cardinal, Lena (Cory) Littlechild & Cody Makokis; 5 foster children, Gabrielle Soosay, Darien Soosay, Bradley Soosay, Christopher Whitebear & Lakisha Whitebear; 28 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Esther Crane, Gloria (Bob), Delores, Muriel, Leonard, Colleen & Marilyn; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Nora was predeceased by her daughter, Crystal; 2 great-grandchildren, Hunter & Stella; parents, Stanley & Lena Cardinal; adopted parents, Thomas & Winnie Wahsatnow; 9 brothers, Pipe, Rene, Albert, Kevin, Peter, Daniel, Baby Joe, Roland & Anthony. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Sunday, December 7 & 8 at Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil will be officiating with interment in Cache Creek Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
