Obituary

On July 21, 2013 Mr. Nick G. Shulko of Smoky Lake, formerly of Andrew, passed away at the age of 82 years. He is survived by 2 daughters & 1 son, Louise Shulko of Edmonton, Sharon (Steve) Przekop of Smoky Lake & Rick (Darlene) Shulko of Edmonton; grandson, Dallas (Jodi) Przekop; 2 great-grandchildren, Kali & Kadan Przekop; 4 brothers, John (Lucy) of Smoky Lake, Peter (Christine) of Fort Saskatchewan, Mike (Josie) of St. Albert & Ernie (Judy) of Andrew; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Mykytiuk of Smoky Lake & Julia Bogdan of Edmonton; brother-in-law, Mike Ratchuk of Smoky Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy; parents, George & Anna; son-in-law, Doug Page; step-granddaughter, Lisa Salter; & sister, Gladys (Steve) Krawchuk. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pokrova Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Edwand. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie will be officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. Nick was so very proud of his family, he spoke very highly of all of you.He was truly a man with a heart of gold. Nick was a very special man in my heart, Nick had a wonderful sense of humor, I will treasure all the days I had being his caregiver. May Nick rest in peace with his DEAR wife Nancy. Amen.
