Obituary
On October 7, 2014, Mr. Nick Gerlywich of Vilna passed away at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Eunice; children, Rodney (Claudette) of Bellis, Sheryl (Walter) Mazur of Vilna, Terry (Shelley) of Vilna & John (Lorena) of Edmonton; 8 grandchildren, Calvin (Britni), Katelyn, Clarissa, Samantha, Alicia, Ryan, Shania & Nicholas; 2 sisters, Angeline (Sigord) & Irene all of Edmonton; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Tom & Kate Gerlywich; sister, Lena; brothers, Harry (Alma) & Alex; brother-in-law, Chester; grandaughter, Amanda. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 10 at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Community Church, Vilna. Reverend Wayne Johnson will be officiating, with interment in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Vilna. I’m very sorry that you uncle Nick passed. We remember lots of jokes and lots of good pies Auntie Eunice cooked up for Uncle Nick. As kids we always had a blast visiting.
We will all meet again in heaven one day. Uncle Nick you are now enjoying health again and your rewards for your faith in God.
