Obituary
On March 24, 2021, Mrs. Nellie Kindraka of Bonnyville, formerly of Glendon passed away at the age of 96 years. She is survived by 3 daughters, Pat (Albert) Karas of Glendon, Diane (Lawrence) Pirnak of Glendon & Carey Lynn (Don) Slade of Vernon, B.C.; 8 grandchildren, Rhonda (Pierre) Chartrand, Koreen (Monty) Doonanco, Loretta (Virgil) Kwiatkowski, David (Danielle) Pirnak, Douglas (Sarah) Pirnak, Jordan Slade (Larissa), Jared Slade & Jana Slade (Cory); 13 great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Wyatt, Nikkita, Dalton, Keirstyn, Tristyn, Kale, Kolby, Ryder, Brooklynn, Ava, Sophia & Riley; 2 sisters, Polly Nielsen & Celina Skrypiczajko; numerous nieces & nephews. Nellie was predeceased by her husband, Alex; parents, John & Katie Horiachka; 4 brothers & 1 sister, Mike, Bill, Alex, Nick & Annie Spasiuk. A Private Funeral Service will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Peter Haugen will be officiating, with interment in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Glendon. Those wishing to view the service online may do so by Livestream on Thursday, April 1 at 10:30 a.m. by clicking the Live Service tab above. A recording of the service will also be made available.
