I like to believe that when we lose someone close to us they still live through us and give us strength. The time we have spent with those we’ve lost makes them part of us. We will miss her so much but she will forever remain in our hearts.

From: Lauraine and Barry Chalmers
Relation: Maternal Cousin

My 1st real memory of Mylss was from when the Scott family came to Victoria for a visit in the early ’60’s. We all got to squeal with delight as we swam in the cold Pacific Ocean – this began our lifelong family bond with love.

To Wayne, your children and your grandchildren: The silence is deafening, the loneliness is over powering. Losing someone SO special is one of life’s hardest trials. We hope that your transition, over these next few months, is met with love of family and bonding and that Mylss’s strength and love surrounds you.

To Aunty Janet and Uncle Gordon; Dawna, Andy, Betty, Bob and all of your families – The loss of a child (even as an adult) can not be imagined. You have all suffered so much loss over the last few years, our hearts go out to you all. We love you very much.

Losing someone with such a big heart is so sad. We sincerely hope that the love of such a close knit family will lessen the burden. Mylss will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Wayne and family, We are so sorry to have found out about your Moms funeral after it was over. We both would have liked to have been there. We have lots of good memories of your Mom from when we were alot younger, horses, meatcutting and great hospitality! You will all miss her deeply, our thoughts are with you.
