On August 22, 2012, Mrs. “Edie” Muriel Edith Womacks of St. Paul, formerly of Heinsburg, passed away at the age of 78 years. She is survived by 3 sons & 2 daughters, Dale (Elena) of Adelaide, Australia, Teresa (Joey) Sinclair of Slave Lake, Ken of Heinsburg, Roger (Cindy) of Lloydminster & Sandra (Richard) Marcoux of St. Paul; 2 daughters-in-law, Dianne & Barbara; 14 grandchildren, Gabriel, Renata, Jordan, Karla, Darrin, Cody, Kara, Sheri-Lynne, Kristen, Jason, Jackie, Elise, Alain & Adrianna; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Alvin (Peggy) Womacks; numerous nieces, nephews & special friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Ben; 2 sons, Alan & Glen (infant); parents, Charles & Vicki Dumont; brother, Charles “Manny”; & step-grandson, Corey. A Funeral Service was held on Monday, August 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Heinsburg Community Hall, Heinsburg. Reverend Sam Donaldson officiated with interment in Frog Lake Community Cemetery, Frog Lake. Donations may be made to University Hospital Foundation (Dialysis Unit) or Canadian Diabetes Association c/o Box 1780, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A0.
