Obituary
On April 11, 2018, Mrs. Minnie Moneta of Elk Point passed away peacefully at the age of 102 years. Minnie is lovingly remembered by 2 sons & 1 daughter, Robert, Dwayne (Esther) & Cynthia; 2 grandsons, Kevin (Maureen) & daughter, Grace, & Devin (Tracee) & son, Lawson; sister, Mary Morusyk; numerous nieces, nephews & other relatives. Minnie was predeceased by her husband, Frank; parents, John & Jessie Ruzycki; 5 brothers, Steve, Mike, Paul, Pete & Stanley; & sister, Anna Yopyk. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Elk Point Senior Citizens’ Centre, Elk Point. Reverend Father Mark Sych will be officiating, with interment in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Northern Valley. If desired, donations may be made to Elk Point Heritage Lodge or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
