Obituary
On Sunday, January 22, 2017, Minnie Maria Benson (Quintal) of Elk Point passed away at the age of 74 years. Minnie is survived by her sons, Walter Benson of Elk Point, Ben Benson of Elk Point, Richard Benson of St. Paul, and Ralph and Doris Benson of Elk Point; daughters, Winnie Pelletier and Matthew Tobin of Edmonton, Rema Quintal of Edmonton, and Shirley Benson and Mark Stanley of Frog Lake; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her friends, nieces, nephews and two beloved puppies. Minnie was predeceased by her husband, Emile Edwin Benson in 1984; daughter, Lydia Benson; grandson, Damian Pelletier; son-in-law, Dennis Pelletier; parents, Patrick and Jean Quintal; siblings, Madeleine, Mary, Annie, Robert, Isadore and Albert. A Wake will be held on Thursday, January 26 at Owl River Recreation Centre, Owl River (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Lac La Biche. Deacon E.J.
