Obituary
On November 30, 2021, Mr. Milton Lorenson of Elk Point passed away at the age of 84 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Stella; children, Andrea, Lane & Bryce (Chelsea); 2 brothers, Dave (Marylynn) & Richard (Susan); numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. Mr. Lorenson was predeceased by his parents, Henry & Florence; son, Terry. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Elk Point Seniors Pioneer Circle, Elk Point. All individuals attending will be required to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination, or proof of a privately-paid negative rapid test result taken within 72 hours of service, or documentation of medical exemption as well as photo ID. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Mooswa Cemetery, Lindbergh. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. We are saddened to learn of Milton’s passing. Our condolences to Stella and family. Milton was the manager the U15 hockey team that Jim coached when Bryce was playing goal. Milton was a calm, cool and very efficient manager who always gave helpful advice when asked. He was a great guy to work with back in those hockey arena days.

Enjoyed many games of cards and visits with Milton and Stella. Loved listening to Milton’s many stories of the history of our area. My utmost admiration to Stella and family for the way they looked after Milton to keep him home as much as possible as difficult as it was. We will miss ou dear neighbour.
