Obituary
On April 22, 2013, Mr. Mike Dziwenko of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 73 years. He is survived by 1 sister & 2 brothers, Josie Panich of Lamont, Joe (Olga) Dziwenko of Edmonton & Robert (Kathy) Dziwenka of Warspite; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria; daughter, Kimberly; parents, John & Annie; brother, Frank; sister, Frances; brothers-in-law, Peter Panich & Rudolph Dziwenka. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Russo-Orthodox Church, Smoky Lake. Reverend Father Gerasim Power will be officiating with interment in the church cemetery, Smoky Lake. If desired, donations may be made to Smoky Lake Palliative Care or Haying in the 30's Cancer Support Society c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. I am so saddened to hear the news of both Mike & Gloria. While growing up in Smoky Lake they were like a second set of parents since I was either at their place or Kim at mine all the time. They touched us all & will be greatly missed.
