Obituary
On February 25, 2021, Mr. Melvin Sunday of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 57 years. He is survived by his adopted children, Beverly Sunday, Tanya Dequaine & Laird Jackson; siblings, Linda (Carl) Bull, Daniel John Sunday, Marilyn Sunday Larose, Lucas Whitford, Anne (Walter) Thompson, Michael (Gail) Sunday, Darryl Sunday (Cynthia Yellowbird), Kelsey Sunday, Wanda (Elmer) Whitford; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews; all of his special friends. Over the years Melvin has nannied over 250 children in Goodfish Lake. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard & Caroline Whitford; brother, Reuben Sunday; maternal grandparents, Nathaniel & Frieda Sunday. A Private Wake & Funeral Service will be held at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. Reverend Robert Wright will be officiating with interment in Protestant Cemetery, Goodfish Lake.
