Obituary
On October 24, 2016, Mr. Mathew Anderson of Beaver Lake passed away at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his son, Horace (Donna) Patenaude of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement; daughter, Lucy (Rodney) Smith of Burns Lake, B.C.; 3 sisters, Florence Cardinal, Alice Goulet & Gladys Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews & relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence & Eliza Anderson; 4 sisters & 5 brothers, Annie (Dolly) Collins, Mabel Miller, Daniel, Jerome, David, Clarence, Ernest, Nancy Charlie & Rebecca Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Thursday & Friday, October 27 & 28 at Maria Munroe Hall, Beaver Lake Cree Nation (Leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Maria Munroe Hall, Beaver Lake Cree Nation with interment in Beaver Lake Cemetery.
