Obituary
On September 21, 2011, Mrs. Mary Whiskeyjack of passed away at the age of 57 years. She is survived by her son & daughter, Terry of St. Paul, Marie (Benjamin Hunter) of St. Paul; 3 grandchildren, Sierra Whiskeyjack, Kashjone Whiskeyjack & Faith Hunter; brothers & sister, Rosalie, Nestor, Ben & John; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Sophie & Philip; brother Peter. A wake will be held on Monday, September 26 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Real Lavasseur will be the celebrant with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake. GRACE GARDENS FUNERAL CHAPEL, Box 1780, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A0 780-645-2677.

I’m so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. I so enjoyed visiting with her at St Michael’s, when I would come to visit my Father. She was always so happy to see me and any one of my cats that I would bring to visit with her.
