On August 17, 2017, Mrs. Mary Strayski of Vilna passed away at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her children, Irene (Gene) Mazur of St. Albert, Orest (Jill) of Edmonton, Ron of St. Albert & Terry (Karen) of Edmonton; 8 grandchildren, Darren (Cara), Doug (Michelle), Leanne (Jeff), Jennie (Dean), Jason (Rebecca), Carley, Jared (Brittney) & Trevor (Brittany); 2 great-grandchildren, Cameron & Rhys; brother, Peter (Lil) Bunda of Vilna; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John; parents, Nicholas & Clementine; 3 daughters in infancy, Janet, Joan & Lillian; grandson, Daniel; sister, Katherine; brother, Harry. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Vilna Cultural Centre, Vilna. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie will be officiating, with interment in St. Paraskevia Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Downing.
