Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Odowichuk on September 4th, 2018 at the age of 91 years. She will be forever missed & lovingly remembered by her children, Larry, Randy, Jeff (Heather) & Maryann (George); as well as her grandchildren, Amanda, Sheldon, Trish, Aaron, Robin (Myles) & Ryan; & her great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Harry; parents, Anne & Peter; sisters, Vivian, Celia & Ruby; & brother, Peter. Mary cherished the time spent with family and her many friends. She had a passion for song and dance as well as floor curling, and loved to tend to her garden. A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Union Cemetery, St. Paul. My mother, Agnes or Frances as we knew her, was Uncle Harry’s sister in the US. I last visit Aunt Mary and Uncle Harry when I was 9 I believe, 61 years ago and they and Uncle John, and a few cousins are all I remember. I never returned to Alberta but did follow some of the family, and how fun it was to meet up with Cousin Caroline a few years ago after 58 years I think it was here in Las Vegas where I live. I am glad that Auntie had 91 years of life and family and was loved by so many. We should all be so lucky to be loved as she was.
