Obituary
On October 4, 2015, Mrs. Mary Measor of Vilna, formerly of Stry, passed away 5 days before her 106th birthday. She is survived by her grandson, Bradley Measor; 3 great-granddaughters; great-great-grandchildren; brother, Metro Yaceyko of St. Paul; 2 sisters, Eva Bashuk of Vilna & Rose Moyar of Medicine Hat; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill; son, Arthur (Joan); parents, Vasyl & Polferia Yaceyko; sisters, Ann, Teresa & Anastazia; brothers, John, Andrew & Harry. Divine Liturgy & Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 9 at 10:30 a.m at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry. Reverend Father Don Bodnar will be officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB. T0A 3A1.
