Obituary
On June 25, 2018, Mrs. Mary Bernice Dinter passed away at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Bill; 2 sons & 4 daughters, LaVerne (Bernie) Parenteau, JoLayne (Maurice) Michaud, Elva Dinter, William (Sylvia) Barefoot, Scott (Kari) Dinter & Corrine (Mike) Jevne; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert “Bud” (Ruby) Bell; & sister, Cathy (Cliff) McIvor. Bernice was predeceased by her parents, James & Edith Bell; brother, Norman Bell; & sister, Alayne Demeria. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Royal Canadian Legion, Mallaig. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Fork Lake Cemetery, Rich Lake. It is ten years since Bernice insisted that we “crash” Wes’ 70th birthday party. He, Bob and Andrew were all turning 70, and we were either 69 or about to be and so off we went. That was so like Bernice. Family was paramount and never to be ignored. I do not know whether or not she finished the family history that she was working on at the time, but I hope that it is treasured in whatever form it is in. It meant a lot to her and I’m sure that it will to you as well. All of you will miss her terribly. So will I. I am so glad that we’ve had as many good years together as we’ve had. Hugs.
