Obituary
On September 1, 2016, Mrs. Martha Alberta Lorenson of Elk Point passed away with her family by her side, at the age of 96 years. She is survived by her 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. SON, Richard (Jean) Lorenson and children Darin (Mona) Lorenson and their children Joel & Mya and Heather (Jeff) Lavie and their children Luke & Jase. DAUGHTER, Gloria (Garth) Pickard and children Brandi (Jeff) Pickard -Farmer and their children Bailey, Chelsea & Blair, Brad (Nadine) Pickard. DAUGHTER, Marsha (Ross) Purdy and children Jake (Amanda) Purdy and their children Coral & Jade, Jeffrey (Stacey) Purdy and children Ava & Alexie, Matthew (Michelle) Purdy and children Addison & Odin. DAUGHTER, Darlene (Richard) Hanson and children Matthew Hanson, David (Aimee) Hanson, Andrew (Shalene) Hanson and their children Crystal, Myla & Ava. DAUGHTER, Sandra Lorenson (Holthe) and children Clayton (Janelle) Holthe and their children Ryley, Tyler & Jay, Kristin (Deanne Newkirk) Holthe and their daughter Emily, Bret Holthe and Brandon Holthe; sister, Phyllis Scott. She was predeceased by her parents, Thea & Tarold (Tom) Aarbo; 2 brothers, Jens & Martin Aarbo; 4 sisters, Alfield Hand, Lillian LaGore, Rose Blacklock & Jeanette Dunsmore; & numerous friends & relatives A Celebration of Martha’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre, Elk Point. Pastor Kelley Sibley will be officiating. Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be held at a later date.
