JUBA, Marion
On September 19, 2015, Mrs. Marion Juba of Elk Point, formerly of St. Paul passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Maurice) LaFrance of Edmonton; daughter-in-law, Vicki Juba of Edmonton; 4 grandchildren, Colette, Nigel (Kandus), Lisa & Bryan; 7 great-grandchildren, Brittany, Emily, Lauren, Mackenzie, Kaden, Ella & Crew; 1 brother, Bill Gusnowski of Edmonton; sister, Nettie (Johnny) Ilnisky of Watson, Sk.; sisters-in-law, Elsie Hallderson & Judi Gusnowski; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; son, Blaine; siblings, Peter, John & Edward. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Mark Sych will be officiating, with inurnment in Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elk Point. If desired, donations may be made to Society for treatment of Autism or Alberta Cancer Foundation c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB. T0A 3A1. I worked with Marion for many years at the St.Theresa hospital.She took a lot of pride in her job and left everything spotless.We visited with her at her home in Elk Point and enjoyed remembering our working days .We will miss you Marion RIP

Sharon, Maurice and family–Our sympathy to you and the grandchildren in the loss of your mother, Sharon. She was a kind and friendly lady who, I recall worked very hard for years at St. Therese Health Centre. She was quite a sport in travelling to Indio, Ca. to visit you in her golden years. We will miss her and her smile.

Marion was a wonderful lady. She was a great Ukrainian cook & I enjoyed her dishes many times.
Sharon, you did a lot of care for your mom, driving out all the time from Edmonton. She is at peace now. Nigel, you were a good grandson to Baba.

Sharon,Maurice and family-My sympathy to you and all your family in the loss of your mother. She was a good friend to my mother and I remember my mom spending hours playing cards with your mom. I like to think they are playing cards once again and enjoying each other company. Mrs. Juba was a kind lady and I always appreciated her calls which were quite regular, to my mom.
