Obituary
On March 16, 2016 Mr. Marcel Jacques of St. Paul passed away at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Anita; 6 daughters & 18 grandchildren – Micheline (Denis) Hébert of St. Vincent & their children Jacques, Irène, Claude & Grégoire; Diane of St. Albert; Florence (Jean Guy) Hébert of St. Vincent & their children Natalie, Luc & Janelle; Noëlla (André) Hébert of St. Vincent & their children Eric, Joël, Réjean, Maryse & Dominic; Carmen (Clément) Brousseau of St. Vincent & their children Colette, Robert & Jocelyne; Marielle (Daniel) Perich of Edmonton & their children Julie, Katrine & Jacqueline; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Noël (Raymonde) Jacques & André (Doris) Jacques both of East Broughton, Quebec; 2 sisters, Anita Gagnon of East Broughton, Quebec & Bella (Paul André) Gilbert of St. Jacques, Quebec; sister-in-law, Aline of St. Paul; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Jacques was predeceased by his parents, Alidor & Florida; 3 brothers, Rosaire, Martin & Benoit; 5 sisters, Cécile, Patricia, Marie Claire, Bertha & Yvette. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society or St. Paul Hospital Foundation (Auxiliary) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
