Obituary
On August 13, 2022, Mrs. Madeline Quinney of Frog Lake passed away peacefully in Frog Lake at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her loving children, Shirley Moocheweines (George), Ervin (Mary Jane), Lorraine, Ruby, Bruce (Brenda), Donna Pahtaykan (Angus), Audrey Hogarth (Allan), Glenda Bristow (Kevin), Roy (Wanda), Bradley (Aimee) & Trevor (Lorna); daughter-in-law, Tina; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Helen John, Marjorie Waskewitch & Rose Watchmaker; numerous extended family members & other relatives. Mrs. Quinney was predeceased by her husband, Alex; son, Norman C.; parents, Phillip & Mary Whitstone; grandson, Johnathan Glabus; sisters, Edna MacDonald & Linda Chief; brothers, Henry, John Baptiste “JB”, Charlie, Joseph, Elmer & Raymond Whitstone; father- & mother-in-law, John & Mary Louise Quinney. A Wake will be held on Thursday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Friday, August 18 & 19 at Norman C. Quinney Training & Education Centre, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C. Quinney Training and Education Centre, Frog Lake. Reverend Father Marvin Tanquerido will be officiating, with interment in Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Frog Lake.
