Obituary
On August 31, 2016, Madeleine Chantale “Maddie” Guitard of St. Paul passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 15 years. She is survived by her loving parents, Kasia & Paul; brother, Jacob; aunts & uncles, David (Louisa) Guitard & their children, Alexis & Sadie, Chantale (Justin) Daniel & their children, Charlie-Grace & Louis, Marc (Zi) Guitard, & Anna (Kevin) Lawlor, & their children Ryan, Allison & Claire; grandparents, Charles & Deborah Guitard of Fredericton, NB & Romuald & Marta Judek of New Market, ON; & her dog, Molly. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 5 at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Hall, St. Paul. Pastor Kelly Sibley & Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, Canadian Tire Jumpstart or STARS Foundation c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. Maddie was a beautiful young lady and was taken away before she could become a beautiful woman. Perhaps God needed her more today. I am sad for her family and hope they will find solace knowing their beloved Maddie found her way into the hearts of many people, even those who never knew her.
