Obituary

On December 8, 2014,  Mrs. Lorna Hiscock of St. Paul passed away at the age of 78 years.  She is survived by her children, Charlotte (Keith) Lajimodiere of St. Paul, Robert (Wanda) of Saddle Lake, Kevin (Barb) of St. Paul, special grandson, Sean Hiscock, Millie & Laura of Vegreville, Alma of Lethbridge; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers & 3 sisters, Oscar Lacombe of Edmonton, Norman Lacombe of Elk Point, Milo Lacombe of St. Paul, Annette (Paul) Rondeau of Cold Lake, Mona Beaulieu of Hinton & Elizabeth (Ken) Killbreath of Prince George; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 2009; 2 grandsons, Charles & Trayson; parents, Oliver & Millie Lacombe; 1 sister, Charlotte in infancy; 4 brothers, Jack, Leonard, Albert & Léo; brother-in-law, Sylva Beaulieu. A Wake will be held on Sunday, December 14 at Mannawanis Friendship Centre, St. Paul.  Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Centennial Seniors Centre, St. Paul.  Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) or Extendicare Residents Council c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB. I was a staff member at Extendicare for 10 years! I was honoured to have so many visits with Lorna. She always had a smile for me and always asked how my children were. She was an amazing woman and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Thoughts and prayers being sent to all of her family and friends! XO
