Obituary
On February 28, 2021, Mr. Leonard Joseph Neumeier of Heinsburg passed away at the age of 93 years. Len lived a healthy, full life and touched many hearts. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Beatrice Rita Neumeier (nee Boyko); 8 children, Iona Neumeier, Lee Neumeier (Douglas Day), Carmen (John) Murphy, Wes Neumeier, Sharon (Steven) Moore, Lucille Neumeier (Richard Nelson), Joe Neumeier & Carla Neumeier (Michelle Rios); 13 grandchildren, Katheryn (Justin) Shea, Michael (Lindsay) Bowal, Curtis (Stephanie) Bowal, Laura Ann (Ryan) McDiarmid, Gregory Harlow (Jaimie Gruman), Erin Harlow (James Melanson), Devin Masyk-Neumeier (Maxwell Sykes), Teghan Masyk-Neumeier (Galen Findlay), Blair (Amber) Moore, Eric Nelson (Jacqueline Smith), Danielle Drozdiak, Caleb Neumeier (Katheryn Ward), Tyler Denison & Jesse Neumeier (Tyra Darnel); 11 great-grandchildren, Violet Shea, Bennett Shea, William Gruman-Harlow, James Gruman-Harlow, Isla Melanson, Jaci Melanson, Wrenly Sykes, Madysen Moore, Corbin Moore, Walker Nelson & Ember-Lea Darnel; siblings, Lucy Zentner, Edward Neumeier & Mary Sinclair; sisters-in-law, Joan Neumeier & Rosalinda Neumeier; numerous nieces & nephews whom he dearly loved. Mr. Neumeier was predeceased by his grandchildren, Branden Anderson, Jordan Murphy & Jason Nelson; parents, Mary (Van Hee) & Michael Neumeier; siblings, Jeanne (Matt) Wanner, Joseph (Eileen) Neumeier, Bernard (Adele) Neumeier, Frances (Maurice) Verbeem, Gabriel Neumeier & Aimie Neumeier; sister-in-law, Gloria Neumeier; brothers-in-law, Simon Zentner, Mike Senek & Clarence Sinclair. Memorial Service will take place at a later date with inurnment in Frog Lake Community Cemetery, Frog Lake. Cremation has taken place.
