Obituary
On June 7, 2014 Mr. Kurt Weidenhausen of Goodridge passed away at the age of 83 years. He is survived by 3 daughters, Elfie (Hugo) Rautert-Weidenhausen of Sulzbach, Germany, Marina Weidenhausen of Mommenheim, Germany, & Petra (Glen) Aylesworth of Goodridge; 7 grandchildren, Florian Hellmeier, Lisa Rautert, Marie Rautert, Mischa Rautert, Berit Weidenhausen, Marlon Weidenhausen & Dusty Beck. He was predeceased by his parents, Konrad Weidenhausen & Erna Weidenhausen (nee Ulrich), granddaughter, Brandy Dee Aylesworth Beck and many friends. The family would like to thank Dr. H. De Ridder and the acute care staff at William J. Cadzow Hospital in Lac La Biche for the compassionate treatment Kurt received during his time there. In accordance with Kurt’s wishes, a Private Graveside Service was held on Wednesday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Northwood Cemetery, Goodridge with Pastor Terry Luciow officiating. If desired, donations may be made to Stollery Children’s Hospital or Haying in the 30's c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
