Kiara IVERSEN

August 1, 1989 - September 2, 2021

Obituary

On September 2, 2021 my daughter Kiara Iversen, 32 years old, of Edmonton finally found peace. She was my sidekick in life and together we met the world head on. She was an amazing soul who touched a lot of lives. She had a wild and artistic flair that was not meant to be tamed. A rebel with a cause who fought an unbeatable battle with a demon addiction. She will be dearly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her mom, Margret; sister, Ava; brother, Scott; maternal grandfather, Wayne (Linda) Iversen; maternal uncle, Martin (Lisa) Iversen and their children, Zachary & Zoey; maternal aunts, Iris (Ken) Dort and their children, Sherease & Thomas, Karen (Tony) Janz and their children, Jacqueline, Elizabeth & Fredrick; her father, Grant Chileen; brother, Lucas Jenkins; paternal aunt, Lynette Chileen; paternal grandparents, Edwin & Lillian Chileen; & all of her extended family. Kiara was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Mylss Iversen; great-grandparents, Gordon & Janet Scott, and John & Elver Iversen. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 51 Street, St. Paul AB T0A 3A1. I’m so saddened to hear this shocking news. My heart aches for you Maggie, there are no words for such an unimaginable loss. Kiara was 2 years younger than me, but she was the one who taught me how to ride a horse at Uncle Wayne and Aunty Mylss’ farm when we were young. She was such a spunky girl, had no fear, a wild spirit, a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. She did good in the world. Sending so much love to the Iversen clan. Rest peacefully Kiara ❤.
