Obituary
Doug Milot passed away in the arms of his wife at the Two Hills Health Centre at the age of 61 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be forever loved by his wife of 43 years, Monica (nee Freed); his daughters, Kerri Doyle, Annette Perreaux and Rebecca Campbell; his sons (he refused to call them sons-in-law), Park, Tom, and Denis; his nine grandchildren, Madison, Erik, Jenna, Kate, Caleb, Kaimlyn, Sophie, Rowan and Quinn; his brothers, Ernie (Norma) and Rick (Linda); his sister Sheryl (Louie). He was also a favorite uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Shirley Milot.
Doug owned and operated Lakeland Trenching that served the Two Hills County and area for 35 years. He worked hard. He also played hard. He enjoyed many leisure activities with his extensive family and friends. He faced cancer with the same courage and strength with which he lived his entire life. We are celebrating Doug’s humble and kind spirit on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Two Hills Centennial Hall. It would be an honour to have your presence at Doug’s celebration of life service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Haying in the 30s (Cancer Support Society) (www.hayinginthe30s.com) c.o. 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
