Obituary
On May 12, 2017 Mrs. Katie Zawaduk of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 95 years. She is survived by 4 sons & 2 daughters, John, Marian (Peter) Tychkowsky, Jeanette (Ken) Torrens, Henry (Edith), Lawrence (Dixie) & Daniel (Debbie); daughter-in-law, Linda Barkley; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Elsie (Julian) Pukalo; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Nick; parents, John & Mary Woywitka; son, Peter Barkley; daughter, Elizabeth Worobetz; granddaughter, Patricia; 2 brothers & 4 sisters. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Russo Orthodox Church, Dickie Bush. Reverend Father Daniel Friesen will be officiating with interment in the church cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Sts.
