Thank You Notice

CARD OF THANKS

On February 1, 2014, our family experienced the sudden and tragic loss of our dear Baba Kathy. In the midst of our shock and sadness, so many people surrounded us with love, prayers, and kindness. This, above all else, has lifted us up, and made our loss more bearable. Heartfelt thanks to Father Peter Haugen for his spiritual guidance, visits to our home, and comforting prayer and funeral services. To the choir, thank you for singing like angels; you made the services very special. To our All Saints church family, the Millennium Ladies and all the volunteers, you were amazing. We are so grateful for your love, support, hugs, and prayers. Thank you to the many helping hands that prepared Baba Kathy’s requested meal. A special thank you to Netty Ostapiw who baked all the doves for Baba’s service and the kolachi – this was truly a gift to us. Thank you also, to the Luzan Church for the invaluable help in preparing the Church and Cemetery for Baba’s final service. To family, friends, and neighbours who visited, brought squares, delivered meals to our home, sent flowers and cards, or gave memorial donations, we are very grateful for your caring and kindness. Special thanks to John Yewchin for being there for us, every step of the way. Finally, thank you to Leanne, Betty, Ken and staff from Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel for your compassionate help.

We feel very blessed to be surrounded by such a caring community.
