Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Baba Kathy Olafson on February 1, 2014, at the age of 76 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Joanne (Dwayne) Ternovoy; sons, George (Sue) Orlecki & Glenn (Shelley) Orlecki; 4 grandchildren, Keynon & Michael (Chelsea) Ternovoy, & Tyler & Kelsey Orlecki; 3 brothers & 2 sisters, Orest Dochuk, Ed Dochuk, Daniel (Elaine) Dochuk, Josephine Krawchuk & Virginia Chappell; sister-in-law, Martha Dochuk. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, friends & her church family. Kathy was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Orlecki; second husband, Lou Olafson; her parents, Domka & Theodore Dochuk; 2 brothers, Johnny & George Dochuk; sister-in-law, Sonia Dochuk; 2 brothers-in-law, Steve Krawchuk & Brian Chappell. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church, St. Paul. Divine Liturgy & Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church, St. Paul. Reverend Father Peter Haugen will be officiating with interment in St. Elias Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery, Luzan.
