Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Katherine Roskewich of Smoky Lake, announce her passing on May 1, 2018, at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her son, Zen (Emily); 2 daughters, Sonya & Janice (Clarence); 7 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters & 2 brothers; 2 step- grandchildren; many nieces & nephews, sisters- & brothers-in-law. She was predeceased by her infant son, James Michael; husband, Bill; 2 sons-in-law; parents, John & Elena; 6 sisters & 8 brothers. The family would like to thank Drs. Anton & Stephen Raubenheimer and the staff at the Smoky Lake Nursing Home for the excellent care and compassion given to Katherine. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Russo-Orthodox Church, Smoky Lake. Very Reverend Father Gerasim Power will be officiating with interment in Chahor Russo-Orthodox Cemetery, Barich. We are so sorry to hear of Aunty Katherine’s passing. She was a very special Aunt, and sister to my mom 💕.
