Obituary
On September 16, 2019 Mrs. Katerina (Katie) Kuryliw passed away at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her daughter, Helen (Marion) Leskiw; 2 sons, Fred & Syd (Wendy); 4 grandchildren, Katrina, Michael, Sarjenka & Frederick; 2 great-grandchildren, Amaya & Marion; 1 brother & 2 sisters, Peter (Helen) Klimchuk, Sophie (Metro) Yaceyko & Pearl (Walter) Marceniuk. Katie was predeceased by her husband, Fred; parents, Steve & Nancy; brothers, Bill, Harry, Louis, John & Andrew; sisters, Annie & Mary. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry. Very Reverend Father Don Bodnar will be officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. Katie’s family would like to thank the staff of George McDougall Auxiliary Hospital, Smoky Lake for their compassionate care & support.
